About me …

My background in magazine publishing prepared me for the rigors of content marketing. While managing editorial at several B2B and consumer publications, I experienced the digital revolution from the orchestra seats. That excitement–and education–continued as I made my move into what was then called “custom publishing.” (Get the play-by-play and download my resumé.)

As for the personal vitals, I live in Manhattan and the Hudson Valley, where I can be found reading and writing non-fiction, landscaping, or organizing one space or another. How about you? I look forward to finding out more in our first conversation.

All the best,

Muses and other forms of inspiration: Robert Caro, for his exhaustive biography of Robert Moses, The Power Broker ... the character development of J.D. Salinger's Nine Stories ... the spare, powerful prose of Hemingway's Nick Adams Stories ... the lush photography and bold typography of Life, Look, Esquire, and other midcentury American magazines ... Steve Allen, Dick Cavett, Johnny Carson, and other great conversationalists ... Hugh Hefner, who knew what Americans wanted before they knew it themselves.
